The products released in this collection were dazzling and each piece definitely had a touch of the classic “Fafinette Style”.
MAC PAINT POTS PERKY MAC
Fafi’s creativity and imagination has captured the attention of many and as a result, she collaborated with well known brands such as Adidas, LeSports Sac, and MAC Cosmetics. My mascara is Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara in “Black”, my eyeliner is MAC Fluidline in “Blacktrack” applied with the 208 Small Angled Brow Brush, and my eyeshadow is MAC Fafi Paint Pot in “Nice Vice” and “Perky”.Are you a MAC addict? Or are you a blossoming MAC addict barely new to the scene and have a lot of catching up to do with the collections MAC has been releasing left and right? I know for me, I started getting into MAC when the “C-Shock “collection came out, and then from the “Smoke Signals” collection it went downhill from there as I was hooked! I was disappointed that I missed out on the coveted and popular “Barbie Loves Mac” collection because I really wanted to get my hands on the “Real Doll” lipstick which is now selling for an absurd price of $80+ on eBay!īack in February, MAC released the “Fafi” collection which was critically acclaimed to be a follow-up of the infamous “Barbie Loves MAC” collection by a French designer Fafi who created “The Fafinettes”, cute and sexy colorful vixens who always wore the boldest colors and the trendiest styles. The product itself is nearly flawless and makes my eyelashes look great every time. I hope that they will improve the container, as that is my only complaint. So yes, I must say that Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara is my new favorite. But the LashBlast waterproof mascara applies the same and looks just as good as the non-waterproof version. I have found that many times, the waterproof version of mascara is thinner and is almost sticky when applying it. Thank goodness Covergirl also made a waterproof version of LashBlast! (Look for the blue label.) So now, it’s the one thing I won’t leave the house without, even if I’m going swimming. I have very thin, sparse eyelashes and if I don’t wear mascara, you can’t even tell that I have eyelashes. The container is quite large, so I find that it takes a little more finesse to apply, but in the end produces an even less clumpy lash than Max Factor. This one has a rubber brush like Max Factor, but it’s much fatter. The new Covergirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara in “Black” is amazing. But the last year or two, they’ve really turned me around. I actually wasn’t impressed with many of their products for several years.
I’m not usually a fan of Covergirl products. It has that new rubber brush design that applies the mascara evenly without clumping, the color is great, and it doesn’t flake off during the day. Most of you probably know that up till now, my favorite mascara has been Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara in “Black”.
I used to tell myself, “Well, maybe I’m not putting my mascara on right.” I’ve spent many years trying different mascaras, looking for the absolute best one.
MAC PAINT POTS PERKY FREE
Most of them aren’t really clump free though. Every woman wants Clump-Free Mascara and there are a lot of companies that claim that their mascara is clump free.
